Agricultural information and knowledge are essential for achieving food security and sustainable agricultural development. The information is, however, not centralized and users of agricultural information in the country, including policy makers are left guessing where to find information they require. In the light of the aforesaid, the Agricultural Documentation Unit (ADOC), of the Agricultural Information Resource Centre has continued with this initiative due to the high demand for the publication by stakeholders. It aims at creating awareness of the sources of relevant agricultural information and technologies for farmers, extension service providers and development workers, traders, policy makers and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector. Publication directs information seekers to various sources and contacts of information and technologies. The edition may not have been exhaustive. We would therefore encourage other service provides in the sector to avail to us information or technologies offered by them for inclusion in future editions. It is hoped that policy makers, farmers, extension service providers, traders, agro- processors and other clients in the agricultural sector will find this directory useful and informative.
